Group Yoga Classes 

Vinyasa

A powerful pairing of two different disciplines of asana (yoga postures); Yinyasa has fused the Yin style of long-held passive poses with the dynamic, yang style of Vinyasa (flow). Traditionally a Yin practice is best if done on a "cold" body and passively stretches your connective tissue to promote health of your joints and internal organs. Thus, this class will begin with Yin to open the body to more flexibility and energy flow while encouraging a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind. After a few long held poses the class will move into a flow to strengthen and invigorate the body and mind. Overall this class is 90 minutes of self care!

FitFlowFly

Lauren is excited to share this new style of Yoga, developed by internationally recognised, FitFlowFly yoga school. The FitFlowFly method is unlike any yoga class you have ever experienced. Like other forms of Yoga, this style is balancing but incorporates fast twitch muscle training and fun cardiovascular exercises. All forms of the asana practice are variations of moving meditation. 
Using elements of Vinyasa Flow, paired with arm balances and inversions, we link our breath with movement giving ourselves acute focus on the present moment and freeing ourselves from distractions of the past and future.  Join Lauren in this fun but challenging flow class where you will use your breath, mind and body to flow through surya namaskars, strong standing postures, arm balances and inversions, backbends, twists and seated folds. Yogi’s should expect to sweat, work hard, connect to themselves through breath and movement, learn new things, still the mind and more importantly, feel good while enjoying their practice. 
All levels welcome!

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. 

From the Sanskrit word nyasa, meaning “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Every class will be fun, challenging, active and meditative. Vinyasa yoga builds strong bones and muscles, helping us to maintain a high metabolism, healthy posture and an active body. Beyond the physical benefits of a strong vinyasa practice, classes have been proven to help calm the mind, reducing stress and anxiety. Yoga and meditation evoke a relaxation response – the opposite of stress in the body. Amazing for all levels in improving balance, flexibility, strength and energy levels.
